wHAT bLOGGING IS not!

Do you ever feel ...

  • frustrated that others are not understanding your meaning?
  • at a total loss for words?
  • out of touch?
  • alone on the planet?

There has been a lot of talk of late about what bloging means to people.  We all have any number of valid reasons for blogging and even for enjoying it!  Some of these reasons are listed above.  Amidst all the celebration of blogging, however, I don't believe I have seen any attempt at "boundaries" posted.  So, naturally, I felt the need to do something about that.

20 Things that blogging at mindsay is NOT:

  1. a substitution of REAL friends
  2. a winning lottery ticket worth millions
  3. a mystery lover in disguise (alas!)
  4. a vacation at the beach of your choice
  5. the warmth of a genuine hug
  6. a sound night's sleep
  7. a good report from a doctor
  8. peace
  9. the smell of a Spring rain
  10. a cuddle with a loved one
  11. a long awaited reunion
  12. a cruise through the South Pacific
  13. the rush of the wind through your hair as you speed along the countryside in your Mustang convertible
  14. a par-tay!
  15. a #1 song
  16. an evening out with the girls (or boys!)
  17. a sun kiss (the natural glow of being outdoors)
  18. a bike ride through a gorgeou state park
  19. a gallop on horseback
  20. a Nobel prize winning platform

In spite of all this, blogging at Mindsay is a lot of fun!
