President Ronald Reagan was probably one of the most significant Presidents we've had in many years.  He is one of my personal favorites.  Only a well adjusted individual is able to laugh at themselves!  I have great respect for the man and the job he did as President, but this post is not about that ... but about his slips of tongue!  Enjoy!

  • "The taxpayer ... that's someone who works for the federal government but doesn't have to take a civil-service exam."
  • "I've noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born."

  • "You can tell a lot about a fella's character by whether he picks out all of one color or just grabs a handful." –explaining why he liked to have a jar of jelly beans on hand for important meetings
